According to reports from the Daily Mail, Bailey won’t be joining Jose Mourinho at AS Roma this summer.
The Ivorian center-back was signed by Jose Mourinho in the 2016 summer transfer window from Villareal at a price of £30m. Though he intends to fight for his place under the management of new coach Erik Ten Hag, reports claim that he has received an offer from AS Roma, Sevilla, and Fulham.
He later went on to reject the offer from AS Roma, while that from Sevilla and Fulham still stands.
Sevilla seeks a replacement for Joule Kounde’s position after the French center-back successfully completed a transfer to Barcelona at a price of €50m.
According to reports from Spanish Outlet, Estadio Deportivo, Sevilla doesn’t just want Baily, but Telles as well.
However, a move to Fulham is unlikely for Eric Bailey since Sevilla gives him the opportunity to play in the Champions League level.
